Every week on site Home Recording Italy can be downloaded a new audio lesson of the course, Wav files contained in a min. 5 and max. 10 minutes. It looks like the best opportunity for anyone to learn theory and technique of recording in a fast and pleasant, leading to a higher level of education than the material currently on the web, too often partial, difficult to understand but also to be paid!
The course is in fact the first series of audio lectures available to users of the Web totally free and without registration procedures . What is this?
The "20 Hz 2009 contest is the first organized competition for emerging bands from 20 Hz. Represents an opportunity to promote their art for all groups in the Roman scene live and the opportunity for winners to record an album / demo to be presented with a free concert series in various places in Rome. The contest is notable for its trasperenza and freedom of performance, the artistic director of Cloud Azul recording studio (non-profit project of a social, humanitarian and ecological) and the fact of being linked to the label 20 Hz, that promotes the best bands in evenings characterized by the mixture of arts.
Details:
Location: Loa Acrobax (former capital of the dog track), because of the towing tank 6 (Marconi Area) Rome
Subscription Period: 1 January 2009 - February 28, 2009
context object: Titles its original composition, music non-electronic. The band must have a repertoire of at least 1 hour (30 minutes in the semifinals and 30 minutes for the possible final).
Enrolment: To subscribe send an email to: nubeazul@email.it containing: 1) group name 2) Gender 3) shall name 4) Date of foundation 5) biography group 6) concerts and album / demo to 'active 7) links to files holding demo
Mode: On 1 March there will be selections of the groups that participate in the semifinals. On March 27 from 18:00 to 00:00 semifinals of the groups (30 min. Qualifiers for each of the eight groups). From 00 to 02.00 3 groups and the best final award.
Grand prize: The winning group of 20 hertz 2009 contest will be achieved:
1) 2 days free recording in the recording studio Nube Azul
2) graphics cd free
3) Promotion and service to print 1000 copies CD, everything included.
4) Promotion in the evenings 20 Hz
5) Advertising on sites of the study and the label.
